Mission and Purpose

NZITC is a charitable trust with a mission of advocating for authentic, respectful
relationships and care for infants and toddlers. Authentic relationships provide the foundation for mutual learning and empowerment for all.

Inspired by Magda Gerber’s Educaring® Approach, and the work of Dr Emmi Pikler, NZITC is committed to empowering carers, whānau and kaiako with knowledge and skills honouring all mokopuna and seeing them with new eyes.

NZITC offers a range of personal and professional development and networking opportunities to support adults to respect, reflect and respond to our youngest mokopuna with aroha.

Our intention is to build a respectful and peaceful society and create a lasting legacy for generations to come.
